Light a candle or few...

I love my candles. I have so many that I have a whole shelf full so that I can pick different ones depending on where I want to light one. I have unscented, scented, coloured, small, large you name it I got it!!
So do you like your candles or do you never bother with them?

I have a lot of candles in different sizes and colours. When I was younger I used to tease my mother because she loved candles and put them everywhere around the house. Now I live on my own and I have stopped teasing her as I have more candles now than she has ever had ;-) I love them and I often buy new ones. During winter it is especially nice to have lots of candles, and I often light them.

Yes on a dark and cold night outside a room can look so cosy when candles are put up everywhere and I like to have scented ones to make my home smell gorgeous! : )

It's a shame really you cannot have the candles in your dorm room - I always have so many around!

Hi frankie,
I like candles I've got quite a few around. I like all types also. I tend to burn them alot more in the winter though. I am going to buy some of those flameless candles the eletric or battery ones, because my hubby always thinks I'm going to accidentally burn the house down or something lol., He would be much happier with the flameless candles. cheers!

Like you I absolutely love candles, but I never bother with them except in the bathroom sometimes. Living in Florida, I'm always hot!! Candles put off heat so I don't use them like I'd like to. But I do like them lit in the bathromm when we have company and sometimes when we don't.

I just loved my candles, I was actually collecting them when I was living in San Diego, they had a place in Old Town that has the most incredible candles ever, I had all kinds, as I moved to FL unfortunatelly that was gone, but I miss them and I love them, will buy some soon!

Just today I was in a shop that sells hundreds of candles and they were all on sale - some really amazing vanilla ones that were huge - enough to burn for 200 hours or so!

I love candles too. I use to not really think about it much but then I found these candles that when you light one it makes the whole room smell like the candle. The house that I am in now the downstairs is much bigger than my old house but in my old house it would make the entire downstairs smell that way. They are sort of expensive but they are so great. They are called Yankee Candle and they are so worth the money.

Oh yes they sell them ones in the garden centre near me but thye are very expensive so I am hoping to get some for my birthday!! lol I love th ecookie scented one!
