Sunrise over Lake Superior... our trip to Minnesota

This is a photo of the sunrise this morning 8/17/08 at Approximately 6:05 a.m We were heading back to Chicago from our trip seeing my inlaws in Mountain Iron, Minnesota.
Do you have any photos of the great lakes to share?, i think water photos are just so relaxing and peaceful.

What a beautiful picture! I have been to northern Minnesota on the shores of lake superior....and it's beautiful. You have a good eye for catching the sun on the lake just right! I don't have any picture on my computer as the last time I was there I didn't have a digital......thanks so much for sharing this lovely moment with you!

Thank You Jill. I had lots of times i tried to take one from the car while moving, but it wasnt workin..lol. Finally hubby agreed to pull off into a lot and i said..this is perfect and by then the sun was coming up so it worked out just right. scratch that last part about RICE LAKE..the photo is too big and i have to figure out how to resize it..lol
