If we can see this from the television, why cant olympic officials see this. I believe they do but dont want an international incident on their hands. This is a reason to show our distaste for the ongoing infarctions that Chinese officials feel its okay to committ. dl

If it wasnt for the fact that we have history books, I think that the Olympics will have a difficult time separating itself from these games in the future. I think that this is what people perceive the games to be about. Unfair rules and judges, a government that is corrupt, and cheating. I am all done with these games for a while. I only wish their was somewhere we could voice our opinions. dl

Normally I dont pay attention to rumors. In this case, I believe every single one of them. Since day one there has been nothing but innuendo. What they did to their own people performing in the opening ceremonies was bad enough. It doesnt surprise me in the least that they would deface bibles, put restrictions on journalists etc. They need to be held responsible. Isnt their something they can be held accountable for. I guess being *ss**les isnt a punishable offense.dl

I think you have said it all. There's nothing that could change my views on these games. I feel for the athletes. These people have trained for the competitions of their lives. Its sad that all that was overshadowed by negative publicity. I am shocked at China's behavior. You would think that they wouldnt want the world to know that they're cheaters, and dont respect its own citizens. I guess not. We may never know what they were thinking. Thanks for you response. dl

I dont think that China is totally responsible for anything. What upsets me is that the Olympics stands for unity. Competitors spend most of their lives training for these events. Just because China has chosen to live by certain government doesnt mean squat when it comes to the Olympics. The point is to set your personal beliefs aside and showcase the natural talents of a nation. CHina manipulated the entire thing from beginning to end. From not being cute enough, to the suggestion that their gymnasts are not the correct age. Isnt it funny how the truth regarding these issues will never be really be found. You are correct that not all judges are Chinese so its not their fault. It has been suggested by persons close to several of the judges that they were intimidated and/or threatened to vote in certain ways. We'll never really know. None of these questions will every really be answered to anyones satisfaction. I feel sorry for the people of China. They are in the middle of all this dl

I do agree that its not a specific country as far as the judging is concerned. I dont think that the judges are all trying to be intentionally unfair. I know there is also alot of pressure in being a judge. I dont care what country it is, I think there is alot of side deals and bias going on. The information I based my opinions on was Yahoo News. I get no kind of personal satisfaction bashing someone. I am a good person my friend. I am not out to get anyone. I am however, upset at the lengths the people in charge of putting on these games went to be the best. I am sorry for all involved. I have friends from many nations and we are all equally upset at the way things have been going. dl

If you think so, I am afraid that all the judges won't be qualified to be the judges. I just think how difficult it will be to control all of them. I know China unexpectedly to win so many medals. Some people are upset because they are no longer the number one.
If you saw the 10M diving match, you will know that the winner is from Australia. Yes, it's out of my expectation but it's true. I am a little upset because we lost it, but I have to say that the Australian diver did better. So he deserved the gold medal. You have to see our Chinese also applauded to this winner. Just be generous and kind to them. Don't ever expect others to fail, you get to do better than others.

I hate to say it friend, but I agree with every word. China didnt care about anything except winning. Shame on them. THe sad part is that they make their own rules to fit their situations. If china wants someone to be a certain age. Thats what they are. Its a travesty of justice.dl

Yeah. Damn Icant find the pic now. I saw a picture awhile back, in the middle was the wall of the olympic grounds, and one side was the olympic stadium and all that, all nice looking and all that. On the other side was regular china and all its squalor and everyone looked dirt poor, which they were. Hell did you know china stopped all the factories during the olympics in bejieng? That way the pollution levels would be safe for all the visitors. Hmmm ok, what about all the people that live there year around and it not being safe for them? Oh wait we dont care about them, I forgot. Its just stupid.

In my opinion, it was a disaster. So many innuendos of cheating and dishonesty. Only china will know the real truth. I am surprised at the way the Chinese government portrayed themselves. It was positively, that is for sure. I am glad it's over. I hear they are investigating some issues of deceit. It is said that they will be banned if any of it is proven to be true. As I said, I am glad its over. dl

Good thing that at least they are seeing in to some of these issues, it sounds like it sure was terrible and I'm glad I didn't watch. If there was indeed deceipt in the games they deserve to be banned from the olympics.

From the latest update, It seems theyve started an investigation. They must have found enough evidence to look into the matter further. I am glad its over. This is the first time I have really been disgusted by what's going on. dl
