Am I really a kill joy? Whats wrong with me? Judge me fairly please.

Sigh.. My brother who is now visiting me called me a KILL JOY and I resent that
.
You see guys I'm a homebuddy person. I can stay inside the house for months and months without going shopping, watching movies, strolling at the mall, visiting a friend, travel places, and going to parties. I don't even mind if none of my relatives or friends visit me. I don't get bored I'm just fine with what I am doing, my daily house chores, other stuffs and of course my laptop. I don't even have a night life. Unlike my brother and his wife whose always onto some adventure though often times they kept mumbling that they don't have money.
My relatives are like that too. Always celebrating on something and going to parties of our other relatives. They can even go miles just to attend fiesta, eat and after several hours later travel back miles again to go reach home. I don't enjoy travelling miles just to eat. For me its silly. But thats just me so I don't go with them.
Is there really something wrong with me? I am willing to change if I have to but not totally change myself and be like them. I am friendly I know. I do go out sometimes but not very often.

No, you're not a killjoy... a killjoy stops other people from going off and enjoying themselves and that's not what you're doing. if you are happy doing what you do, you are probably in a much better position that all of those people who are still searching for happiness. Maybe you could join the family sometimes as they would probably like to have your company but they must also respect your choices. Enjoy your day

You are not a killjoy - a killjoy ruins other people's fun!
As long as you're happy with how you live your life, then there's no problem. Hey, at least you don't go out wasting money on getting drunk and stuff! I go outgrocery shopping once a fortnight, and about once or twice a week just to get out and about a bit but other than that I don't go out much. I don't drink so I don't go to pubs and clubs. I'm happy staying at home watching films, playing computer games, reading and surfing the net.
