Bala I cannot remember (blame it on perpetual bad memory...lol..)exactly but it must be anything like: Classics like: Little Women, Jo's Boys, Heidi... Noddy, Famous Five, Secret Seven, Nancy Drew, Hardy boys.... Mill & Boons... The last one, however, I could not catch hold of until middle school due to high censorship from my mom. But when I actually managed to read it, under covers though, it was most intriguing, I tell you! *laughs*

Wow, you are asking some question my friend as this is a long time ago, a very very long time ago, but fortunately my long term memory is far superior than my short term memory and I remember the book well, it was a series set in Ireland, where the Protestants were against the catholics and a catholic boy was dating a protestant girl, Across The Barricades when the IRA were in full power. Kevin and Sadie love story, it was brilliant, I guess it made all the difference in me passing my exam at the time because I loved the book, had it of been shakespeare I think I would have failed and been put off English for life!

Oh I think I am almost to embarassed to admit that one of the first books that got me hooked to reading was a book called Heaven by Virginia Andrews.... but I was only like 14 at the time and I just couldn't put that book down and then went on to read the flowers in the attic and so, also I remember at this time I used to love reading Sweet Valley High god I don't know which one was worst.... hehehe
