What is your favorite carnival or circus snack?

I have not been to a carnival or circus in years, but I remember them well, especially the snacks! There is nothing as good to a child as the snacks at these events that are normally forbidden to them in their regular life. Which means my favorite snack for carnivals and the like are funnel cakes. Loaded with unhealthy ingredients, they cannot be beat in my book. I haven't had one in ten years, but the memory is still with me!

i didn't like cotton candy but i loved the fiddle sticks. the hamburgers have smelled soooo good but mother would never let us have one.

Mine has got to be Cotton Candy or Elephant Ears. These are 2 things I have enjoyed since a kid, and just seem to always have to have. When it is something like a Town Celebration, it always seems to be Elephant Ears, Corn on the Cob, or Curly Fries. I just Love this time of yr. when we can go to these things even if it costs us a lot of extra $$.

I love candy apples and cotton candy. I've been disappointed lately that every cotton candy vendor lately has it bagged up already. It's a lot neater to eat that way but I liked it when they made it fresh and handed it to you still warm wound around a paper cone. I just had some bagged cotton candy the other day that I got from the fair. At least they made it fresh, but the only kind they had was three colors, and stuffed into a plastic bag.

i like eating popcorn easy to eat and not messy. chip may do so. icecream in a cup more like it.

love cotton candy. but my favorite snack is probably the hot dogs or corn dogs.they are just so carnaval-y, if that makes any sense. isnt it hard to find 'good' food at carnivals? usually its just good old cheap processed food...i don't think they have anything organic or 'good for you' nutrition wise. let me know which ones you eat so I can try them out.

Funnel cakes have always been my favorite carnival food. I even made them at home once. Almost as good as at the carnival. My son goes for the cotton candy though.
