Cupid is associated with love because he is the son of Venus, the Roman god of love and beauty. Cupid often appears on Valentine cards holding a bow and arrows. He is believed to be able to use magical arrows to inspire feelings of love. What else do you know about cupid?

I tot cupid is to shoot at the heart if someone whom really belongs to u, because without truth heartache and pain, one will never know that if they are the right one for each other.. hehe =D

I too never really understood till I found this out today. Interesting isn't it? That a pagan symbol of love is the one that is recognized by millions all over the world. And all on the same day as well!
