opinion on future president barack obama  

I think that its on the minds of everyone what will happen if Barack Obama whens. I like the angle of this persons thoughts though Instead of saying if he wins it says when he wins. So I am assuming this person is for Barack Obama but anyway I'm quite sure that barack has also thought about all these things if he wins. I'm sure he'll be well protected from the person or persons that would try to harm him.

I think it's foolish to say when Obama wins.... Just as foolish as saying when McCain wins... It's not written in the history books yet who will be president, however here is my opinion...

Whoever is to become the president is going to be at risk. And whoever becomes president that person is going to have the best protection our tax dollars can provide. As far as Obama being for the poor and that putting a target on him, both candidates care about the poor and the hungry. However not all poor are poor and can't help it. It's difficult to provide a system that will define the line of who really needs and deserves assistance in a world that so many choose to abuse the system. I live next door to a person who is on disability who does not deserve to be, and it upsets me because there are so many who are fighting for it who really deserve it. The real world is not cut and dry, and the government can not be expected to save us all. We need to take responsibility for ourselves and those of us who can make a difference should do what we can to help those in need, and those who do not need but only want, should stop taking what they do not deserve. And American's who have been successful should not be pulled down by our government simply because they have more than someone else. Stealing from rich to give to the poor is still stealing no matter how you look at it. We should all be allowed to reach our full potential if we so wish it, but those people will have to work for it if they want it. There have been many American's who have built themselves up from nothing, from over populated slums and sleeping on streets. It's not a perfect world but America is still the best country in the world in my opinion.
