Is it bad not to laugh at your partner's jokes?

It depends on the situation, perhaps she's not really into a very comical mood at the moment or something really irritating just happened for her earlier and whimsical comments about it might be taken the wrong way. Then, there might those types of humor that they simply can't get which isn't really that difficult to comprehend when it comes to different interests that makes us who we are. Making them laugh is always a nice thing to do and should be appreciated but, it is also nice to consider such reasons which makes them laugh as well as those that don't at all (^_^ )

Well I sure do feel bad sometimes when my dimsum doesn't laugh at my jokes, but I understand it because sometimes I make the corniest jokes. But Most of the time my dimsum laughs at me for wild and silly antics, such as my Keokero dance. LOL I don't get mad if she doesn't laugh at my joke, rather I just tell her it was a joke and end it with that.

Honestly? I don't think so. If the joke is not funny, then why would you laugh? It's really a matter I think of how comfortable you are with your partner. If you are laughing at a partner's unfunny (is that a word?) joke then odds are you are in a way sucking up to your partner, then the relationship may not be deep enough yet, cause I believe that if you really care for your partner and love him/her then you can be totally honest with them. We just have to be careful about being sarcastic or mean when we tell them they ain't funny. ^_^

Maybe if my partner did not laugh or even smile. I'll still won't feel bad. I know her to well and will understand. Rather then be a hypocrite I think. Nothing is different I still love her more hahaha! Have a nice day!

I experience this a lot! my partner don't really like my jokes so I am used to it. And it really makes me happy when she laughs at my jokes because that is something rare. Of course I do feel bad but it is better than finding out that my partner is just faking her laughs at my jokes. It is better to tell your partner the truth. If the joke is not funny for you, you don't really have to laugh. Have a nice day!

In my opinion, I think it's bad when your partner doesn't react at all. It's like some indicator of boredom, being uninterested, not paying attention, or something. I think it's not bad not to laugh cause what would hurt the partner more is not getting any attention and reaction. XD Once, I joked but then my boyfriend didn't find it funny so he made funny faces at me or joked back so that I would be the one smiling and laughing. I didn't feel bad because of what he did. :)

I will tell another joke and another and another...and if it fails again I will quit telling jokes..

Of course, I feel a shame to myself when everytime I make some jokes then my boyfriend don't even laugh at it.. Sometimes, I am asking him if that jokes isn't really funny then honestly he will tell me the truth whether he is not listening or it is not really funny... Well, sometimes I feel bad but I just realize that maybe I should strive hard to make some jokes that is really funny.. At least my boyfriend will tell me the truth than laughing at it even it isn't funny at all..

lol a little but not really, im an idiot and a dork, i don't expect everyone to find everything funny that i find funny. if someone tells me a joke that i don't really find funny i will usually just give a bit of a chuckle and say oh god
