When did you start to love French Fries?

French fries are known far and wide...In every part of the world, there's always a group of people who patronizes and loves the said food. It seems that we're used to having it in our daily meal that we can barely remember when we started to like it..How about you, when did you start to love french fries?

I can honestly say that I have never loved french fries - at least not the deep fried kind you get in fast food joints. Yuck. That being said, I sometimes do make french fries, especially sweet potato french fries. But I bake them in the oven. I refuse to deep fry anything.

Wow, in my place we have gazillions of sweet potatoes but we don't have any idea as to what to do with it...We fry it or boil it at times...but more than that, we have less recipes with regards to it..^^ How do you cook it?

I just cut them into strips, spray a cookie sheet with cooking spray, and cook the potato srips in a 400 degree oven for about 10-15 minutes.

I like french fries ever since I was a child. I think my brother got me into eating fries. At first, it was hard to eat because it was really hot, but I got over that. Now I eat it occasionally, and I encourage other people to eat it too. ; )

I can't remember as to how when I fell in love with a fries, haha.. But remember eating fries as early as elementary years.

Never... I think french fries are a waste of time and potato! Just skinny little sticks of nothingness. Give me a bag of good old fashioned British chips any day ... plenty of vinegar and slapped into a butty

I love french fries when I first tasted them. My mom said during my schooling age, I refuse to eat potato in any menu or dish she makes. When she introduced me french fries, there I started to eat potato on soup or on her dishes. I don't eat french fries everyday. I only eat when we eat out with friends of same interest.
