That is such a pain, since the batteries usually go rolling underneath something and you have to crawl on hands and knees to find them. I will try this and see if it helps. Best wishes!

Our center table would sometimes get scratches because he would be so careless in handling remote control. I thank you dear for giving me this good idea. I can always cushion the remote but why only now that I realized. Ha!ha!ha!

It's being kept together in one piece with scotch tape. It's still working, thank goodness. Great idea with the rubber bands, maybe if I had known this quite a while back, our remote control would have been spared from too many cracks! Thanks for the tip!:)
