its kadayawan festival here in davao!!! beauties and bounties abound..its the time of year when young and old, rich and poor will share the same fun and happiness the celebration brings.. wish that everyone around the world can take part of the celebration too..do you have festivals and festivities in your town too???

I don't think I'm familiar with that festival though I'm a filipino myself. Can you elaborate that festival further? What happens everytime it's being celebrated? Care to enlighten a fellow countryman? :)

hi! kadayawan is an annual celebration here in davao..its a way of thank giving of the natives here for the bountiful fruits and crops harvest..a street dancing is done on the 6th day of the official week participated by the different tribes here in davao..floral float parade is done on the culmination day which is on the 7th day..what i love more during kadayawan is that malls are having mid night sales, big companies conduct product demo and freebies abound..come and visit davao sometime in august next year and experience it yourself...

We have many festivities here and most of them are related to worship. One of the most famous festival here is Dussera which falls in the month of October. We are all waiting for it
