Do you see Biden as an asset or liability to Barack Obama

Joe Biden, 65, is Democratic Presidential Nominee Barack Obama's choice as a running mate. What he has in longevity and experience--some substance that is lacking in Obama--he lacks in personal integrity. In 1987 he had to drop out of his 1988 Presidential bid because of the fact that, during a speech, he was found to have plagiarised.
Do you think voters will care about that more than they care about the one thing about Mr. McCain...that he doesn't really remember how many houses he has?
To me, integrity always does matter.
What about you?

I see Mr. Biden to be a perfect fit for our next President, John McCain, as well!

I believe that Biden is a liability. I don't think this will be able to be used too much by McCain to attack Obama, but the damage is done elsewhere. I think this damages Obama's credibility to the many progressive democrats who voted for him, in response to his message of hope and change. By picking a career politician, Obama is damaging his reputation to these progressives, and is risking losing a good number of them to an independent party. On the other hand, the experience that Biden offers can be an asset, but I don't think it covers the fact that this damages his image as being the "change" candidate.

Joe Biden is just the correct running mate for our next president. The fact that McCain needed his staff to help him remember how many houses he has is very telling. Any flaws that Biden has are overcome by his positions on the issues that are critical for re-establishing this country as the power it once was in the world.
