House of Wax--If he Survived

Yeah, that whole movie was disgusting! But that part really really huants me! I feel so sorry for both the guys in that scene!

Yeah I guess surgeons could do something...make it so he could open his mouth..give him feeding tubes while they try to remove the rest of the wax of his body but...even if they did that successfully without killing him...he would have no skin! You can't live without skin..too much infection lol. Or you think they could make skin to cover his entire body?

The movie was really disturbing x.x Not really worth watching. It's very haunting and...just a lot of freaky violence! I shouldn't say it isn't worth watching though...I think a lot of movie goers would enjoy it.

He couldn't really respond. All he could do was move his eyes (not blink or anything...just look side to side/up and down.) His mouth was waxed shut, his hands and legs were all waxed like he was in a sitting position. But oh...my gosh! Felt so sorry for that character!

Well in the movie they had him still alive after the wax was ready for display x.x When his friend touched his cheek (just thought it was a life like figure) his eyes moved...and his friend started peeling off the wax and...well skin came with it and it wasn't pretty! x.x

I didn't know being painted gold could make you sufficate...interesting.

I am talking about the 2005 version, I haven't seen the original. Not sure I'd want to after seeing the remake. Just the whole thing gives me the creeps.

Well if there was a way then that would change everything. i defeniatly wouldn't want him to be shot. But I can't imagine how they would do it. I just hope we never have to really find out!! x.x hehe

I don't remember him putting wax in his veins...Jared Padeleki's? Or maybe they did that in the original one? I just don't recall that x.x But I don't really want to watch it again to find out...lol. Wouldn't putting wax in someones veins kill them almost instantly?

i dont remember the names of the people i just remember that part freaked me out (of course i could be wrong cause i spent alot of the time with my hands over my eyes and my boyfriend trying to uncover my eyes)

LOL! That's how it is in my family. I'm always covering my eyes at the bloody parts. I don't like them.

I spend most of my time with my eyes covered during scary movies and then i STILL have nightmares. My boyfriend has a tendancy to hold my hands away from my eyes and make me watch he says its no fun watching a scary movie if you cant see.

lol! My friends and my dad tell me that all the time! They always wonder aloud when i'm around..."why do I take you to these if you spend the whole movie with your eyes closed?" lol. But I still like scary movies! I like being scared, and suspenseful...I just don't like gore.

Yeah this movie was really creepy and bad. I prefer to be scared by movies without a ton of gore and crap. I like the thriller/suspense scary movies. Blood and guts just ruin a movie for me.

Yeah I decided to ask my dad about this. He's a doctor so I figured he would be the best person to ask lol. He said that even if plastic surgery...and fake skin the guy wouldn't have been able to survive because we need skin (real skin) on our bodies to live. So if in removing the wax, all his skin would come with it, and he would eventually die, whether or not he was covered with artificial skin or not. So knowing this, I think a bullet in the head would be EXTREMELY humane. (again, I'm not a violent person and I don't like death lol)

You are right. The guy would suffer too much and in the end, he will only die. So why let him suffer right. Anyway, I'm scared of blood and death.

Wow! That does sound like quite a disturbing story. It would defeniatly upset me, but it sounds very interesting too. Is it a movie that will make me cry? Sometimes I need a good crying movie lol. And is it realy graphic? I'm no good with blood and gore.

No I would say it's real Graphic, It was made in 1971. But it probably would make you cry. it's kinda sad. and maybe even a little boring. But I think that was just to help us see what the guy is going through.

There are a few war scenes with grenades but you won't see any body parts flying or anything like that. It's supposed to be an anti war film but Really, someone could be injured the same way in a real bad car accident and I don't know of any case where someone did survive the kind of injuries this guy had in real life. But the morality of keeping the guy alive and what he is thinking is pretty interesting. He doesn't know if he is awake or dreaming.

I watched the link to that video you gave me! I havent even seen the movie and I feel so sorry for that guy! What a terrible situation he's in! I think this movie would defeniatly disturb me, but I feel like it's one I need to see.

I am happy that it isn't very bloody and graphic!!
