I only know about kidney, my chinese doctor told me that my kidney "weak", ask me: 1. don't drink cold water (water with ice). 2. eat vegetable which is dark color: seaweed, black sesame, chinese black fungus. 3.don't drink too much milk, if you really love milk, don't drink too much. This is what I know about kidney.

I know that blueberry juice is also good for kidneys. I hear you should avoid caffeine. My doctor told me that as I have kidney problems too. I can't drink cranberry juice because it's too bitter for me. However, blueberry juice I can drink without diluting it.

Cranberry Juice is good for the kidneys as well as the urinary tract. So, get some and keep it in your refrigerater. Drink it instead of milk or other juices. But you still need lots of water. I heard recently that drinking a cup of warm water in the morning is good. Just get in the habbit instead of drinking coffee or tea. Also, soft drinks are supposed to be very bad for kidneys. I've also heard you should limit calcium rich foods. That doesn't mean to eliminate them entirely. Especially as a woman, you need some calcium for your bones and teeth. So, that means cutting down on milk, cheese, butter, etc. Research has shown extra magnesium and Vitamin B6 is helpful.
