Do you hate confrontation?  

I avoid confrontation and anger at all costs. Product of my dysfunctional upbringing, I guess.

I am deeply passive aggressive. I'm kind of afraid to confront others and I will often leave hints and try to be patient. There are times when I just take revenge later. When I was 10 I used to put soap on my brothers' toothbrushes in hopes of conquering them. I used to have physical fights with them at the time, but of course I've always been way smaller. I have to say, though, I did put up a good fight for my size. I realize it's not healthy to be passive aggressive and just resent people quietly, so I'll probably try to use gentle confrontation in the future.

I do agree here with what you say about confrontation. I am basically of the same ways when it comes to that sort of thing. In the face of adversity I usually like to try to think and act as logically as I can to avoid any altercations.
It seems to work for me. I am also not an aggressive person by nature. It might just be good practice not to get involved in confrontation but that could also be depending on the situation at hand.

i confront people. i used to be the one who would avoid it but i got so tired of being used and the doormat for people that i started confronting people. imean i dont do it for any reason. but when something big happens and there is a need i will not hold back

I am exactly the same way. I hate confrontation and do everything possible to avoid it.

I don't necessarly hate confrontation. Sometimes it's needed and sometimes it's the product of some stupid drama. I will definitely stand up for myself or others if need be.

I spent so many years being afraid to voice my opinion about certain things or just keeping quiet because I didn't want to upset anyone or hurt their feelings. Well guess what?....Life is too short to be walking on pins and needles for everyone. If something is bothering you or you believe something just isn't right, you need to SPEAK UP! No one is a mind reader. How else can you solve problems and smooth out situations if you aren't willing to speak your mind?

As for just fighting to fight. I hate drama and strongly dislike those who feed on it. There's more important things to put my energy into.

I am one to avoid it if I possibly can. It's just my nature. Sometimes I'm so passive it can be to my own detriment.

I used to avoid confrontation at all costs but that ended up having me walked all over. I don't seek out confrontation but I don't let people take advantage of me.

I'm not one to start a fight or argument. But I'm one to speak up when it is necessary or someone is going to get hurt. Personally I let things go over my head if I'm the one as the target, but I can't stand by and see some else get hurt when they are defenseless or unneccessary used by one who is just right mean or like to dominate others. Sorry I'm only 5 feet tall, but I do speak up or defend when cornered.

Confrontation really isn't my favorite thing. However if I am presented with some sort of conflict then I will do what I need to do to defend myself or do whatever I need to do based on the situation. However I'm not going to go out there and just start trouble just because I can. I'm definitely not that kind of person. I find it sad that some people have to do that sort of thing.
