My husband bought me the nativity scene of Jesus, Mary and Joseph. I love them. They are so different from any of my other nativity sets. I know that he has more pieces to the set, but the place I put them is perfect for just the three main "characters". I don't know what QVC is, so I've never seen any of his shows.

QVC is a home shopping network channel. they feature Jim shore about 4-5 times a year or more. I just love to watch him as he presents his pieces and tells about each one.

I knew about Jim Shore for about a year now but never did I see his halloween peices which I am just falling in love with. His style is almost vintage looking and my daughter just loves the Tinkerbell peices he's done and can't wait to get her them. I have been looking for them on ebay but my local hallmark store (not a chain, privately owned) always has a big sale on halloween items and I hope to get great savings on them that way. I have my eye so much on his Wizard of OZ set and just the other day I was in the store and the store attendant by mistake put a cart (for stocking shelf) of his jim shore wizard of oz set under a '70% this shelf' sign and I almost fell over I was so excited I could actually afford to buy a couple peices of the set...until she corrected the misunderstanding, lol. Thats ok, the store is great and the good thing is they have little room to have alot of inventory so things have to move in and out fast which means lots of sales. They have a graduation peices, its a lion with graduation hat and gown that IS 70% off (29.50) and I might get just because it does kind of remind me of the lion in wizard of oz and I hate to pass up the sale because I genuinely love his art.
