when you're angry, do you let it all out? or keep it all in?

I've heard that when you're angry, you should let it all out because you might develop some sort of heart disease if you keep your anger in for a long time (please correct this if it's wrong. it's something that i heard.)
but this is not the case with me. when I'm mad, i tend to keep quite, which is why those who know me really well knows that my being quiet is a sign that I'm dead angry about something. I'm not the confrontational type, I prefer to let my anger subside and THEN talk to the person that caused it rather than spewing out hurtful words in the middle of my bursting anger.
i found this a good way to avoid fights/problems from getting any worse. me and my husband are the same. so we know one is angry when silence rules the house. this way, the other makes all sorts of efforts to make the angry one at least smile.
are you the type who screams her/his lungs out when angry? or are you like me who keeps her quiet? have you found this a good thing for you, this way of handling anger?:)

I remember the movie "kailangan kita" (it's Pinoy movie), it mentioned there that if you keep your anger, it will cause you cancer.. well, I don't know if it's true.
anyway, that's my attitude way back then. I used to keep my anger and released it through crying. but I've noticed that it sometimes affects my heart. I sometimes can't breath and my heart beats faster due to too much anger that can't release. so what I did whenever I am angry is that to talk to someone who's close to my heart. those that will understand me, and listen to me whatever I'll say.. and I find it helpful, rather than keeping it to myself..
and some told me that it sometimes leads to human combustion. have you heard of that? the human body will explode due to too much heat..
and I believe anger will be the cause of the heat. I don't know if it's true. but it is much better if we'll release the pain that we are feeling.

I usually sulk. I don't know on what category that falls on because sulking is obvious, so it's not keeping it all in. But sulking is kinda quiet and unobtrusive which isn't letting out either.
I have a very short attention span, though, and I usually don't sulk enough to be noticed. I can forget the fact that I'm angry for as fast as a minute and maybe remember to be angry again later, but often than not, I just forget about it completely. I might then remember that I was angry before, but not enough to be angry about it again. (does that make sense?)
I guess I'm just not the type of person to get angry. Or maybe I'm just lucky enough not to be in a situation where I can get so angry that I need to vent it in ways that will affect others (because keeping it all in is actually more disastrous than letting it all out). Either way, I have an anger management problem. Because I hardly get mad, haha! It's like that Adam Sandler movie. :p

I am the opposite. I will not stop getting my anger out of my chest. so the next innocent person around will be the victim of my mad bull. I can't keep anger in me less i might attack someone with vulgar and abusive words, that is when I am really mad. I can't keep it intact, I must release it. Once released I will be very normal as if nothing happens. weird it may sounds but honestly I hate this bad attitude of mine but I seldom gets really mad. Your silence is not really golden and you are clever in keeping your anger in a cool manner.

When I'm angry, I keep it all in.
If I'm unusually quiet, my husband will know that I'm upset about something and tries to talk to me. There are times when the discussion heated up and then I will let it all out.
I don't think that this is a good way. I think I may get heart disease either way. So sometimes, I just don't knwo what to do...
