I was watching this documentary about different healing methods. One of the methods they discussed was drinking your first morning urine. It is supposed to help with skin, stomach issues, cramps, etc. I dont think I could do it. I guess if came down to my life I would. As a daily therapy. Hell no. Would you?

I hope she doesnt kiss him. lol They say that some people drink their first morning urine on a daily basis. These people are supposed to be extremely healthy. WHo knows. I dont think I want to find out. If It cured some horrific disease like cancer then maybe. I dont even know about that. dl

That has to be one of the most ickiest thing that I've heard of. Heck no. I wouldn't drink my own urine for that kind of healing method. If I were stuck under a collapsed building and had no choice but to drink my urine or die, of course I'd choose the former. I don't want to die just yet. But if I had a choice not to drink... then, you know what my answer would be right?

People must have thought I was nuts for asking this question. I dont know if I could ever do it. Maybe in a situation like the one you described. Maybe. I dont think anyone wouldnt do it if it would save their lives. But who knows. I will soon find out. dl

Some may say its foolish. Others live by it. THey say some of histories greatest people lived by this practice. For example Ghandi did it every day of his adult life. So its a matter of opinion. Some scientists say its good for the skin or for your immune system. Its used for its antioxidants. Whats good for some may not always be the way of others. thanks for sharing dl

I have heard that it is very pure, but no, I could never drink it - the smell would be enough to put me off, and I can't begin to think what it would taste like.

I would use it one an injury if there was no anticeptic available, it is supposed to cleanse, soothe and heal wounds. I would not have a problem with applying it externally.

I am healthy and I do drink plenty of liquids, but first thing in the morning it is deeper yellow and more concentrated, as it has been stored in the bladder all night and has lower water content. That may make it better for healing purposes, but not, I would think, for taste.

Yeah, I've seen that profiled on television a couple of times. I wouldn't do it, but maybe I'm not as desperate as they are? I can't imagine a time where I would be desperate enough to drink my urine. Even if I were crashed somewhere without fresh water, I don't think I can imagine myself doing that.

I heard also about this and one of our neighbor before used to do it and he really feel good! In my case, When I need too, why not! I will just follow a water after! LOL!
But, I have not tried! LOL! Anyway, I still confuse the cleanliness of it! Anyway, a lot of people are giving testimonies about this already and they feel better after, effective than taking pills in their own experienced!

I have seen a documentary about this issue before. I was even surprised upon knowing it. It's so amazing as it can heal several sickness. That must a good news since the medicine is within us and very accessible. Though it's gross, I'll still drink my urine if no other medicine can heal my ailments.

It is pretty funny. When I was very young, a doctor suggested me to drink it. I don't remember what happened. However, I actually refused.
Anyway, I am very healthy now.
I don't know weather it works. But it is really hard to accept it!

As long as there are still 1000 ways to make you healthy, then I will not take the urine drinking method at all. It's like you're so desperate that you have to drink your own urine. Come on, there are still many ways to be healthy.

I dont think that says desperation. I think its just people trying to do what ever they need to be healthy. SOme cultures do different things. This is an example of it. I wouldnt do it . I wouldnt discourage others from doing it. What If it helps? Who are we to say? TO EACH THEIR OWN.dl

This has got to be the most stupid form of therapy man could ever devise. A few years back a friend of mine who is very successful and has a lumber exporting business told me he drank his own urine for therapeutic purposes. Well, who am I to tell him otherwise?

I will not drink my own urine unless i really have got no choice.. lol =D
I know the benefits of our own urine, but i just cant imagine drinking back on the waste and toxic that we can supposed to pass out as urine.. hehe ^_^ All i know is that, by drinking urine, we can quench our own thirst.. haha
