We all know that culture shock is a state where a person experience anxiety and feelings of either surprise, disorientation, confusion, etc. Most of the people felt this when they encounter different cultural or environmental environment such as living in a foreign country.
What do you find interesting about other culture?
Do you find it difficult to assimilate or adjust to different culture?
if you does please tell us how do you cope with this?
Thanks

I have not although my travel experiences around the world are limited. But i have seen people who visit my country go through it time and time again. It does take them a considerable amount of time to adjust. I suppoe preparing oneself by getting all the required information before setting out on a trip or settling down helps.

There are all levels of culture shock, and I have experienced some. When I moved from living in a big city for most of my life to a small community of maybe 200 population. Things were done way differently, everyone knew everyone, neighbors watched out for each other. I also experienced it when I moved from the South to the Northeast, talk about culture shock lol Differences in speach, the foods they eat up here, the way they think about different subjects. How to cope, I just keep an open mind to trying new things, change is not always a bad thing. And I do not try to put it across that 'my' ways are better than theirs.
