I have discovered why I make so many typos here on myLot

I don't make that typos, I have some reasons why I don't . 1. Chews of fingernails for better access to right keys 2. Has small hands and fingers that fit snuggly onto the 12" keyboard 3. Doesn't think as fast as Ellie or either types like the wind 4. Can blame her typos on not being a native English speaker 5. Can blame her typos on her kitty that lies down on her keyboard Erm... that's all I can think of at the moment! Have a great day.

Shesh Ellie :))) If you are anything like me the ladies are sagging so much these days that they are sitting on the keyboard causing typos! rotflmao

Geez, try to change then lol. Yet then again, typo errors can add flavor to a posting, especially at places that causes accidental humor. Then everyone can have a laugh together with the person making the typo (laughing with him hopefully and not laughing at ). Are you using Firefox? If you are, then there is an inbuilt spell checker. I have tested the Firefox and Internet Explorer browsers and found that myLot is way faster on Firefox. Cheers!

ellie, I know what your talking about, I think faster than my finger coul type. I put my fingers on the wrong keeps. and something I just come up with some strange words. 3. would have to be while I'm watching TV i'm also typing.

yes Ellie i agree, our brain is faster than our finger and sometimes, also we press the wrong letter coz we alwasy in a hurry and did not review it.thats my problem didn´t review if i am in a hurry.

I'm the same as you, i get in such a rush to type what i'm thinking that i end up making silly mistakes!! the third reason should be because your computer is possessed by the spirit of a hippy who is rebelling against the convention of correct typing by making you make mistakes! xvx

well i think the first reason is porbably one of the biggest reason.. also because you are in a rush to write and when you write fast you make mistakes like press different buttons at the same time. well the most bizzare reason i can think of is erm you look at the screen as you type so you let your fingers go wild lol

if i'm having one of those days i say i've fat or dyslexic fingers cos my sis is dyslexic and she uses it as an excuse for everything if she can't speak its cos she dislexic if she trips shes dislexic we rip the p out of her in a funny jokey way though not nasty. I also am having a number of those days myslef am on the stronger tablets this week and my brain and fingers aren't corresponding correctly. there are times when i read back what i've wrote i think WTH someone else must have wrote that you can't even tell what i'm saying. Speaking of which i need some more so i won't be posting for a couple of hrs until i'm coherent lol ps. the most bizarre reason for you erm your cat typed it, you was drunk, your ghost typed it, you was giggling, spilling drinks on you, your sons magic silver cat scared you, amys fault any more? pps how did your date go you never said?

The same is happening with me lately. I am getting fat fingered. lol... Most important reason being I am thinking too fast and my fingers are struggling to cope with it. So, I end up eating up word in between. And this sometimes changes the whole meaning! Like when i meant NEED NOT, I am writing only NEED and stuffs like that. I do not have long fingernails ( I once nearly injured my eyes while in sleep with my claws...lol), so that could be ruled out outright. Now, the last one, not bizarre though: you are always in a hurry to talk/chat to your newfound BF.

I'm going to go with reason #2. I used to have long finger nails and that caused me to misspell everything. Back in July I went on a Mylot binge and was posting around 100 responses daily. But then my poor fingers and hands gave out on me. These days, I'm not posting too much. But when I do, Mozilla keeps me on track by highlighting the misspelled words.

Hi ellie, Yes, I have been doing that all the time and I'm begining to wonder if people think I can't spell, sometimes I type so fast that I keep misspelling and as for you nunmer 3 because you got a hiccups and then you have been sneezing. Love & Huggles Tamara

I am also bad at typing but that is because I don't know how to type the proper way

well, i'm one that types very fast and thinks slower. i have no nails so that's not an issue. now, i have had to move my keyboard to facilitate a cat climbing on or off my lap or computer desk. some times when i move the keyboard it gets me "off". most times i'm snacking or drinking so that's an issue. i don't want anything on keyboard. (OH NO! I'VE CAST A SPELL BY SPEAKING OF IT!) i don't think i have any bizarre reasons, other than all of the above. LOL
