How much do you believe this statement? Do you believe it pertains to you? I have always believed in what the Bible tells me, however this little gem kept alluding me. I would repeat over and over I am rich and guess what? I am broke!! Did the principal not work for me for some reason? Maybe the key is in the believing part. STOP!! Before you think this is a sermon please read this intire post!! My husband and I were watching poker the other night, World Poker Tour to be exact. Well this guy pushes all in on a great hand. Ace something, anyway his opponent calls him. Well the look on the mans face before the cards were flipped said it all. He looked like he had lost already! Even though he was nearly 80% favorite to win based on his cards and his opponents. Even when his opponents cards were revealed he still looked defeated, I mean hanging his head the whole bit! Well as you may have guessed he did lose on the last card his opponent got the only card that would beat him. I thought there is a perfect example of you get what you ask for. His words may have been saying I want to win but his eyes, expression, tone and body language said he believed differently. What are your thoughts? By the way the same thing happened to two more guys facing the same opponent, wonder what he was believing? Please be respectful, thanks.

Its poker, its bluffing, for lack of another word, that you have the hand to win it all. Problem is, you're focused on what you have and you have no, and I mean no idea what somebody else has. Its a step of faith and a jump of chance. Also, you can never learn unless you take such a risk, not everybody wins, sometimes nobody wins. To the victor go the spoils, if you bet it all then you can loose it all.

Sometimes trying to believe and having faith can be a struggle. It happens to me sometimes. They say that prayer is also good to keep the positivity but sometimes I feel alone and my prayers are not answered. I just believe that we need patience and things will come to us. I believe the Lord does have his reasons and his own timing for what will happen. Just keep on believing!
