I sing solo in a band. Well backup singers don't really count but I am the frontperson of the band and I'm not as great as christina, whitney, mariah, beyonce, or anyone close to that. But I'm close to Amy lee, Tina Turner, Carrie Underwood, Joan Jett, and Lita Ford. Everyone's got a different voice and vocial range with things, some just haven't discovered it. Everyone isn't good at everything, nor great.

I would have to say yes I would, as I have done Karaoke many times. I dont think i have a great voice, but neither do majority of people that get up and sing karaoke at a bar, especiallly if they are intoxicated. I dont sing if i have been drinking, so i know if i sound bad, well then im bad..lol, rather than sounding bad because im slurring my words.

while i have a good voice, i would never be brave enough to sing in public, but my daughter, who also has a good voice, is. she sings every week at our church with our praise band and has sung solos in church as well.

Hi! I don't if I would I like to sing in public. I think I'm an amateur or mediocre singer but I was able to do that around 3 times in the classroom. The first one was part of a game in the classroom wherein those who don't get to stay in the game will have to do something in front of the class, whatever it is. I thought of singing some foreign songs just for the delight of everyone. The second time I did that was for extra credit. I had good grades for that class. It was voluntary and one of my classmates was telling me to go for it, and so I did. The third time was part of a classroom skit we made and I had to sing alone because it was sort of related to the scene. It's really funny but after performing in public, it feels quite fine
