What Do You Plan To Do If You Can't Avoid The Computer This Weekend?

It seems that I always lose track of certain holidays, and the fact that Labour Day is coming up didn't occur to me until I went to the darn supermarket and noticed that they actually were putting stuff on sale! LOL! :) I don't home in on most holidays because I'm usually waiting for the weather to tell me what's coming, and I don't watch a lot if TV anyway, because I hate news, and those "BIG HONKING CAR SALES" ads with the guy that screams so loud, you make a solemn promise NEVER to buy anything from him, and seriously consider joining a Monastary just for the peace and quiet... Vow of Chastity and all... Well anyway, I didn't make any plans, and I'm working on something that will make me pull an all-nighter or two, and I wonder if I'm going to have some Mylot Family for company this weekend? Please tell me that I'm not gonna be all alone on the Internet while you guys are partying it up! What a great-looking site! It almost makes me wish I knew how to play at least some of those games, but I have no clue. Good luck, though, with what's obviously a very good idea! Joanne

Thanks for caring, Peaceful. I'm home sick from work because I got a small cut on my foot and diabetes encouraged it to become a huge, messy, painful infection. The pain pills keep me asleep most of the time, but I've gone to the computer each time I wake up! We're on the same wavelength, my friend. Shutters are akready up, and I brought in anything that could become a missile from the yard. I have a bad feeling, not about Gustav, but about Hanna in its wake.

Hey peaceful! No you won't be totally alone if you count me! I'll be here. I have to try to get some work done in my apartment and do some chores and run some errands for my roomate/sometimes boyfriend since he prefers to work this weekend (actually volunteered to work at his job) so I get stuck taking his cellphone bill in for him and doing the laundry which he usually does because he likes to do it and I don't and some other fun stuff along with my usual fun chores. So I'll be around mylotting in between all that good stuff I have to do! I would like to go shopping for a computer desk, but the stores will be insane and unless I get someone to go with me I won't brave the insanity alone. So I will see you around the lot!

A couple of my Lady Friends want to take me out to lunch, but I'm going to be good and do my work, I want to get away for the whole month of October! Drat! I'm beginning to feel like a Monk! LOL! :)
