Long Beach Island New Jeresy versus Florida  | |  I used to live in Jersey but moved to sunny Florida 30yrs ago looking back when I lived in Jersey in a small town called Tuckerton then Long Beach Island it was really small now I hear that its very built up and very expensive I never went back to visit as I miss the change of seasons very much but don't I will eveer go back there but when I moved to Florida my husband loved the beach I said you should see where I lived I could walk down the block and there was the ocean I just can't get used to christmas being 80degrees outside & hurricane season not ready for that so every state has its problems you just have to deal with them so where do you prefer to live sunny Florida or New Jersey??

I like New Jersey for the greenery, how beautiful it is in the fall when the leaves changes colors. Granted, New Jersey is a very expensive state to live in. I have been to Florida, but never thought of living there. I was in Vero Beach, and Popoma (I think that is what it is) I did go to the beach, they are much cleaner than the beaches in New Jersey though.
