Why women like this?  

well i think most indians i know especially women love gold. as for me.. i dont like golds or jewelry much...

i'm not indian but i love to wear jewelry be it silver or gold but i don't like overdoing it. just to accessorize and make the whole outfit look better.

I think it is a natural law. Woman is indicate with beautiful and graceful. So to look more beauty they must wear something that valuable like gold or diamond. So I think woman need to wear thos thing to attract attention from man or maybe to make them looks more beautiful.

be it silver or gold or other elements..i think women has really soft spots for this ornaments.

i think women are partial to gold because this elements are quiet rare. this characteristics of gold portray a woman. gold is the whole embodiment of a woman. rare, attractive, treasured, unique.

another reason is that when you process gold, you first place it in a very hot place then when they are removed form this, they are then shaped to desired shapes (im not really sure how golds are process...so sorry). this process, somewhat is the same with a woman. we (women) undergo different hardships in life, we experienced the wild ride, ups and downs...just like the gold that are placed on a fire. but after this trials we still survive and come out victorious. with more knowledge and wisdom, and stronger than before.

I like gold because it's classic. You can pair it with any color that you like. It also makes you look more valuable not necessarily the monetary value but the class on design.

I don't like gold. Actually, I don't like wearing jewelries. But if I have to (you know, formal occasions), I'd choose silver or white gold. hehe.

To answer your question, I don't know why women like wearing gold either.

Why not? I love gold but I think in your country it might be to show off their status in the family or their husbands just love to dress them up in gold, find out why.

I too am from India. But I have never been fond of wearing gold. Whatever gold I have made is just lying in the cupboard.

Hmm.. Not all women like wearing gold. I don't wear gold. :) Some women are just vain and realistic. Some can't help it cause they can afford it anyway. So there. ^^
