What Do You With The Tie You Wear When You Eat?

If you wore a tie and you are about to eat,
what do you do? Do you:
1. remove the tie and put it back on after eating.
2. put it over your shoulders
3. insert it inside your long/short sleeved shirt
4. You use a tie clip and so it does not get in the way
In my case I insert it in my shirt as I always forget to bring my tie clip

As a woman I don't have that problem. I have seen my husband deal with it by either sitting very close to the table, holding it down with his hand, or stuffing it into his shirt. I wanted to get him a tie clip, but I have the feeling he wouldn't wear it (my brother does) or lose it. Very rarely do I see him swing it over his shoulder. That's when he eats something particularly messy like a chili dog and thinks he is alone, lol.
