How many of you HAVE to eat hot dogs on a bun?

I prefer mine on a hot dog bun, but if we have run out, I will eat mine on some bread. I usually put a hot dog on one piece of bread down the middle then fold the bread over to envelop it a bit with my toppings on it. I know some people refuse hot dogs unless they specifically have a hot dog bun. Are you one of these people, or can you eat a hot dog on plain bread or without bread at all even?

I actually don't like hot dogs, but when I eat them I will normally use bread. It's very rare that we even buy hot dog buns.

I actually prefer my hot dogs on a slice of bread. Buns have too much bread. I lie the way bread will roll around the hot dog and keeps the mustered and catsup on it better. I like my hamburger on a slice of bread too. For me it is silly to not eat a hot dog or hamburger if you don't have a bun. It s all just bread just shaped different

Ohh..I can eat hot dog with any bread...I love it with my toasted bread also with a hot coffee in the morning!

I am with you all the way on this one. I'm not fussed if I have a hot dog roll or a slice of bread

Good topic! I can eat a hotdog either way. If there is too much bread I will get rid of the bread like I did this weekend at our pool party. The bread over powered the hotdog and theses were larger hotdogs, maybe I just wasn't into bread.

i like buns or bread but if i dont have either i have to either chop it up and mix it with other food or something because i just cant eat it alone
