do your mate alway speaking of the past?

everytime you turn around your mate is bring up the past.even compare you too other people from his past.

Yes, we often talk about the past, but not to compare each other to other people. I have been married to the same man for 43 years, and we often talk about the past as it holds so many good memories for us, and we have a good laugh remembering things we did! We even laugh about ex-girlfriends and ex-boyfriends, but we never compare - after 43 years, there is nothing to compare!

thats fine but when youare in a new relationship and all you hear is him talking about the ex what she did and how he hate her.thank you

the one i am dating ayt now dont but the thing is i do...i dunno i try not but when he asked or when we are talking and there is a thing that made me reminded of my x i told him about it.. but i will try not ot speak of my ex too much it wont help us i know..
