Help ! I am having problem with MyLot website !!

I don't know, whether it is happening only for me or for everybody. From my pc, it has become almost impossible to access MyLot features. I mean, when I try to sign in, the sign in page takes 2-5 minutes to appear! After I put username and password in the corresponding box and click log in..at least five times I have to see "the page cannot be displayed!" Once I manage to log in, when I start a new discussion or try to reply to another MyLotter's post, "page cannot be displayed" comes again!!! The time and energy I invest in typing a post, is totally wasted. Becuase, when I hit "back" or "refresh" button, what I composed a little while ego, disappears! When I want click to read "discussins", again it takes 3-5 minutes for the discussions page to appear!! You may say that my net is slow! But it takes only a few seconds to open ANY OTHER WEBSITE from my pc!! Then, what is the problem with MyLot? I hope, someone may give me the correct answer. I am tremendously frustrated. Because, I took internet connection to earn some online money only when I got to know about MyLot from a friend. Please tell me what is wrong with my own lot?

You should try some other browser. If you are using internet explorer then you should try using Firefox. There could be a problem in your browser or cache. Try clearing up the history, cache and cookies and then try to use mylot. If still problem is not solved then reply us. We will see what we can do.

Hello little_boy, I'm guessing perhaps you have lots of spams on your site/browser..? Or that your PC might be having a virus or some sort..? Do some virus checks, for mylot the newer version here is much more better and faster.
I used to have bad connections at work and have simply left participating mylot due to that for awhile and also attending a personal problem. But now, I'm as active as ever and I notice that the site has been much better. It has definitely improved tremendously.
If you are using IE browser, you might want to consider and change your browser to a Mozilla Firefox version..? It is free to download. You can download it here: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/ Hopefully, surfing will be better for you in future and hence, participation in mylot. Take care.

[b]well these hasn't happened to me so far but i think there was a problem with your server that is why you found it hard to log in easily. the problems that i encounter here is there are times that it uploads really slow. it takes me like seconds before the characters appear. things like that.

That is strange. For me everything is working fine. Never had any problems like the ones you mentioned. Just try clearing your cookies and cache of your browser and then see if the same problem still occurs. If yes then it could be some Issues with your firewall of maybe your ISP (Internet Service Provider)

That's funny. I don't understand this. I have never experienced a problem getting into My Lot. You mentioned that other web pages load fine, quite quick? I'm not sure why that is. I just want to ask, are you on broadband or dialup? Also do you use Internet Explorer or another browser? I don't know what you are like regarding computer maintenance. Do you know how to use certain utility tools to make your pc perform better? Generally when you get the "the page cannot be displayed" message, this is a result of the page taking too long to load and it gives up. The reason for this could be background stuff that you are unaware of. Trying to work out a pc problem is a process of slow investigation and turning one stone over at a time! Good luck. Andrew

Hi, could you explain your problem a little further? And to re-arrange it nicely so that it would be easier for us to understand :X...
Seeing you are here posting, it means you may have a way to get around but doesn't work all the time? Or did a miracle just happened and never happened again?
Basically we need to know what browser you are using, whether you may or may not be infected with computer virus and the like, as well as does it still happen?
I would suggest you switch your connection for a faster one, if you think that may be the case, and try not to use backspace, but use "New tab" or "New window" in the future, so you do not have the trouble of reloading your page.
If you still need help, do explain your problems further, neatly.

If you're not already, I would suggest using Firefox like a previous responder said.
Also, try logging completely out and then back in again. Sometimes one server may be having a problem, and you might get lucky and get on a different server the next time.
Do you have the myLot toolbar downloaded? I know when I had it a couple of months ago, it screwed up a lot of things on my computer, so I uninstalled it and everything's been fine since.

i don't have that problem but myLot website seems to load much slower these times. Maybe because of the increasing members and amount of information that is in here.
I hope myLot would address. You may send them a message to let them know of the problem.

I've seen several discussions on this problem today. I have been off & on all day & have not had that problem. Several weeks ago I had a similar problem & I downloaded Mozilla's FireFox & it seems to have fixed the problem. For whatever reason, myLot & IE don't seem to jive!!!
