Was the Giants win last year a fluke?  

NFC is weak again. Giants probably have the best shot in the NFC to make it to the SB again. Until Romo wins his first playoff game, I'm not counting on the Cowgirls to go anywhere.

It's really hard for a team to repeat a Super Bowl win. After last night's game, I think they need a lot of work. Yes, they beat the 'Skins who were pathetic, but the lost their toughness in the second half. They could only get field goals after the first TD. They need to keep pouring it on, not rest on last year's glory. Go Giants.

Fluke would be a playoff win.... they won a superbowl. Big difference. Man up GMan fan....

The losses on defense really hurt. The Eagles and Cowboys are both better this year so I think it will be tough to repeat. They also probably have a tougher schedule as the better teams usually do. I don't know if it was a fluke but the odds of them repeating aren't very good. It doesn't seem like any team does that any more.

From the way they started last year, I was amazed at the final result. However, they really pulled together as a team near the end and got it done. As a Patriots fan (and a Redskins fan), the last thing I wanted to see was the Giants win anything.

As for this year, they have lost some key personnel to retirement, injuries, and trades. The mark of a good team, however, is the ability to overcome those losses and still put up some wins. It will certainly be interesting to see how this year unfolds.

Well i dont believe that it is something you should expect. cause if you expect it you get disappointed.. its what happend when the superbowl came on i said oh the pats definately got this.. and then by the end of it im disappointed .. I'm still a huge pats fan and no loss is ever going to change that but the giant making it and winning the superbowl definately was a run with luck and after losing a couple of very good players one of which was Michael Strahan they wont be the same

I think they have a better shot then the cowboys. i am a saints fan and i think the saints have a shot to make it all the way if they don,t give up all the big plays like last year but i think the G man make the playoffs and the cowboys are out.

Do you still think that the Giants were a fluke? They were definately the best team in the playoffs and had the hardest road with facing the Bucaneers, then the Cowboys, then the Packers, and finally the undefeated Patriots. A fluke is a lucky win against one of those teams but they beat all of those teams on to a Superbowl title. This year they are already 9-1 and beat everyone in their division.
