A while ago I joined a GPT website that was really good, most of the offers I did credited to my account fast and well. I barely ever had a offer that didn't credit for me. I got one payment but then when I requested another one, they requested my I.D. so then I had to go and make some copies of my I.D. to send to them. I don't have a scanner so I had to go to Pakmail and make some copies of my I.D. I made a couple copies just in case another site asks for it, because I am in more than one. That way in case they ask for it, I won't have to go make copies again. Anyways I sent my I.D. to them and a few days went by so I emailed them asking if they had received it yet....then today I got a e-mail telling me yes that they did recieve it and I could log back in. So I logged back in and noticed a couple different things that they have changed about the site, it's international now and they have ptc to click on as well. I think that it is great that they did these changes to the site. I also noticed I almost have $20.00 and I thought I only had $15.00! So that's an extra $5.00 almost for me that I didn't even know I had earned! It's getting a little hard keeping up with all of the offers in the GPT websites I am in, trying not to complete the same one twice. I keep them in a word document to help keep track of them. Have you ever gone awhile without logging into a site? Were you excited when you logged back in? Have you ever had to send your I.D. to a GPT website?

I'm a member of SquishyCash, too, but haven't yet received payout. Congrats on finding money you didn't have -- by all accounts it is an honest site so you should definitely receive the money you've earned. Is sending a copy of an ID to SquishyCash now obligatory for all members? That's something I've never done and don't really feel comfortable doing. Even an otherwise trustworthy GPT might be tempted to sell your information if they accumulate enough IDs. Sometimes, too, GPTs go down...I imagine the owners still might have all their users' information sitting around, so it would be a real temptation for former owners to cash in. I understand that for tax purposes GPT sites would need the SSN of the users who are making hundreds of dollars a year from them so I do accept that...but if a site wants my SSN, it better have paid me hundreds of dollars already! Considering I've never needed to send in an ID to be paid by MyCashHoney, CashCrate, and Make That Dollar, I'd probably quit any GPT site that I knew required me to send in an ID.

I don't know if it is obligatory for all members, I was paid from them once and then once I requested my second payment is when they asked for a copy of my I.D. Anything you don't want them to see that you feel is valuable you can block, they even said that in the e-mail they send to me. When it first happened I posted a discussion on here about it asking if anyone else had to do it and I know at least one person did, and they got their money really fast after that. I think one of the reasons they have started asking for I.D.s is because of fraud, you are not suppose to complete the same offer twice even if it is for a different GPT website...it is considered fraud. Personally I think I would be more scared to send my SSN than a copy of my I.D. I really think it is just to prevent fraud on their websites. So basically I think with people starting to join more than one GPT website they have had to do something to help prevent it.

Just to let you know when I sign into Mycashhoney at the bottom of the page it states: Because of the high amount of fraud on GPT sites in recent months all members accounts will be verified before withdrawing. All PayPal accounts must be verified accounts. If accounts can't be verified, you may be asked to show either photo ID or address proof So I think GPT sites are just starting to do it.

Yeah, I actually know about that message on MyCashHoney, but I have a verified PayPal account so it doesn't apply to me. To me it makes sense that if PayPal has verified my identity that should be good enough for the GPT world, too...I don't have a problem with that. Maybe SquishyCash follows the same rule; do you have a verified PayPal account? By the way, I think I meant to say in my first message, "Congrats on finding money you didn't know you had." I was puzzled at that sentence while rereading it just now so I can only imagine what you thought! :) Sorry, proofreading isn't my strong suit!
