My apartment had no stove and refrigerator in it. It had no Central Air. It only had a wall heater that could only be utilized in the Winter time. We had to furnish our own appliances and put our own air conditioner's in the window. Is this a good deal on a price? I had a two bed room. It was an upstairs apartment..

$350.00, for a two bedroom is a great price, as long as the apartment is descent and in a relatively good neighbor. I pay $955.00, for a one bedroom, and it did not come with air conditioning, I provide my own, it's killing me. If it is a place that you get to like the area, hold on it for a while. Rent/and mortgages are what takes up most people's income. This will give you an opportunity to save money.

I paid $375 for our 2 bedroom upstairs apt. with stove, fridge and stackable washer and dryer (these suckers were tiny lol). We lived in that apartment for 3 years while I went back to school just me and my daughter. Of course price and ammenaties varies depending on where you live. That was the cheapest place that wasn't a dump cause we lived in a college town.

Oh and it had central heat and air. They did not pay any utilities so we had to pay electric, water and phone as well as rent.

That all depends on where you live. There is no way you could find a 2 bedroom 1 bath for $350 here. I would gladly take it and rent appliances. I have never heard of apartment not having appliances, but I know many people rent houses and do no include refrigerators and sometimes central air so you have to bring window A/C units and a fridge.

Hi cream,

I am not sure about that, I haven't tried renting but I heard from friends, they are paying $500 over with complete appliances so having that amount, maybe is fair!

i'm pretty certain it's against the law not to have at least a fridge/stove in apartments now.check with your local HUD agency.

There is no way that anybody can tell you this without knowing the area, condition, size, location, neighborhood etc. It seems though that a 2 bedroom for this amount would probally only be walls and floor. I would not expect much for that price.
If I was planning on renting for a while I would not invest in appliances, as most decent apartments come with appliances and if and when you decide to move then you are stuck with these appliances that you may or may not be able to sell.

I guess it depends where you live. I live in Calgary, Alberta, Canada and that is so
cheap a person could never find one here for that. A person can not find anything for
under $800 a month.
My daughter and I are living in a basement suite but it is considered a luxury suite
because it has everything including furniture and bedding. We are paying $1500 a month
and that is a lot. But if we were to rent something the same size without the furniture
and bedding we would still be paying about $1300 a month so for the extra $200 a month
we thought it was worth it.
So it really all depends on where you are living my friend.
Alrighty then, talk to you later my friend,
Have a good mylotting day, Chris

I think it depends on what area you live in. Here 350 might get you a mobile home or an efficiancy one room apartment and it might have central air it might not. It will have a stove and fridge. Most places I thought furnished a stove and fridge. But sometimes in some situations it is take what you can get. I think you got a decent bargin.

350 for a 2 bedroom? Wow. I would gladly provide my own appliances for that amount. I'm paying 670 for a 1 bedroom right now. The money difference would easily allow me to buy a stove and refridgerator, plus put alot of money in savings after I got them.
