|  We all need to look up the meaning of a word now and then. In the past the dictionary appears to have been the common source of word meanings but lately, more and more people turn to the thesaurus instead of the dictionary. I prefer using Thesaurus. How about you?

| |  I use the Dictionary most often. I usually have an Thesaurus inside the back of my Dictionary. So, I get to use the both of them. I like it this way.

| |  i'm definitely a huge supporter of the thesaurus. the dictionary only tells me what is the meaning of the word. by using a thesaurus, i not only will know what the word means, i will also know what are other words i can use. it's a really useful tool especially when i am writing a report. it saves me from using the same word over and over again. cheers ;p

| |  I use dictionary .com in order to quickly look up words. It automatically has the same link to thesaurus .com as well. In case I needed a different word in the same category of meaning.
In fact I used dictionary .com earlier today. I find all the information I need from the Internet especially since we are in the information age. So I guess in essence I use my computer to find words I need the meaning of.

| |  Here lately I've been using the thesaurus. easy to find more creative words to use in my writing. I usually know what I want to say, but sometimes I want to find other ways to say the same thing.
That is unless you are talking about a spell check dictionary, then I use that ALL the time because I can't spell well. :-)
