Does anyone besides me wish that the mystery was still alive on Lost?

The show has lost its thrill for me. I still watch it. But it does not hold my excitement like it did in the first 2 seasons. The more facts come out and the more things are explained, the less I'm interested. I'm not giving up, but I miss that creepy mysterious element it had in the beginning. Sometimes I "half-watch" it. How about you?

I try to watch each episode but inbetween I seem to forget some details cuz everything keeps go backward and forward. So I guess there's still some mystery for me cuz I can't figure out what's going on. Now we need to find out if Jin is alive, and why they go back. What is that black smoke thing anyway? And why did Locke come off the island? Did any of that get revealed last season and I just can't remember? Hopefully they will do one of those catch-up episodes at the beginning of this season like they did the last. I could sure use one.

Oh, you're not kidding! I need that catch up thing every season. My 13 year old son has a steel-trap memory and he remembers it all and can rattle it off with no problem. Not me!

I wish I were like him. I can't seem to remember even what happened the week before. My husband always has to remind me of things, LOL. I'm really confused right now about those people who came to visit Locke when he was a kid. Can your son explain that to me? Or is it something they haven't really explained yet?

I'll have to check with him. Even your question had me going "HUH?" I really will need some reviewing this season.

I love Lost. I'm glad a lot of the mysteries are being revealed because I absolutely hated not knowing! I understand what you mean though, a lot of the suspense is fading, now that the secrets and mysteries are told. I am still "in" to it and can't wait for the next season but haven't watched tv in so long that I have no idea when that is going to be. Or has the new season started already?

Thanks for your response. No, the season hasn't started yet. It will be nice, since I can't say that I've watched much of anything all summer.
