I believe they do for sure, yes. For starters, weddings for a woman tend to be a far more important affair than for a man and because of a woman's tendency to be more romantic the whole event is taken far more seriously! As for marriage as a whole, I do feel that expectations would vary also. Women may be more inclined to set up a house and have children where men at first probably struggle a little to adjust. In my opinion many women have dreamed of getting married since they were little yet men have not so are probably a tad more reluctant at first! lol.

I would agree that women tend to view the whole wedding thing with more importance than men. Men seem to take a few years into married life to actually adjust I think. I also believe that just because you are married does not mean you have to give up any separate interests you may have had in actual fact a little time apart can be good. Many marriages I know of that have broken up are because one of the partners wants to spend time with the other 24/7

I believe that men and women just have different opinions and expectations altogether whether through marriage or not. There is that Venus and Mars factor that has been up for question over the last so many years and many theories over it. The two sexes do have several opposing ideas I believe when it comes to partnerships and of course marriage. I believe that there has to be some differences in order to learn from one another in this world.
