I really love documentaries because it brings awareness about different issues... It started when I am in elementary when 5&up is on air... How I wish I can meet them... How about you? Share your insights....

I enjoy watching documentaries. My top three would have to be: 1. Lessons of Darkness by Werner Herzog. This take on Kuwait post-Gulf War is stylized in a way that you can't really tell if it's a documentary or a science-fiction film. I like how it's quiet in its own way and you have to think about what the film is trying to tell you. 2. Riding Giants - I don't surf but this documentary about surf culture is very captivating. You could almost feel the rush of adrenaline coming from the surfers. 3. Wordplay - because I love crossword puzzles and I admire Will Shortz. And it's a cute and charming documentary. We have to remember though that most documentaries have their own agenda as well. It's always good to remember that some of them only show us the "realities" that would help them further the point of view they're hoping to instill in their audiences.
