Your One Habit That You Would Like To Change

Do you think you need to change one habit of yours.Or more than one. We may not get along well with a few people and we keep distance. But what do we do when we dislike our very own habit? We can change it,though its very difficult. Have you ever tried to change any habit of yours. Were you successful? If not, then would you want to quit or change any habit of yours? As for me,I dislike my habit of speaking without thinking whenever I am with familiar people.I would like to change it and become a quieter person.

One habit that I would like to change about myself is my being lazy in doing something. For example, I won't start to do it until the time for finishing it is coming close. This is something that I need to change on me. Thanks.

I only have one bad habit that could be changed. I am a smoker and this habit is not really socially acceptable any longer. Smokers are forced outside in the elements to smoke or discouraged not to smoke at all. Only once did I attempt to quit and it worked for a few weeks. Had to get off the meds since I was allergic to something in the rx. I smoke at home and in appropriate places which allow smoking such as casinos or restaurants. If no smoking is allowed, I don't smoke so I do have it under control when away from home. Wish I didn't have the habit but it's been a big part of my life for many years. Overall, I am not unhappy with any other facet of my life.

Good to know that apart from smoking you have control over yourself.Wish we all had.As for smoking is concerned,Many people find it impossible to quit.Though there are a few inspiring incidents of quitting smoking that I know of. You are aware of your habit of smoking and want to quit. This itself brings you one step closer.Maybe you can try restricting it to just one ,or,two in a day. I wish you all the very best in life.

I would like to be able to brush off negative comments better. When someone is rude or very negative to me, often I let that linger in my mind, and it affects the way I feel, and sometimes even the way I act. I know no one likes being spoken to in either of those ways, but it would make me a much better person if I could learn to let those things slide right off my back.

It would certainly make you a much Happier person. But everyone is not the same. Some people are very sensitive and delicate, but one must not let adverse remarks affect one's well being.

i want to change my being weak. i easily cry over things, and i feel childish every time. i swear i try very hard not to cry easily, but when i'm already in that particular situation, my eyes just well up. i can't help it. it's in my nature, i guess. maybe in time i'll learn to control my emotions, but as of now, it's not possible.

This is one habit which is really very difficult to control.I can understand that. Also the habit of laughing easily too is very difficult to control.

I think the habit I would like to break is to keep quiet when I should actually be giving someone a piece of my mind. Being kind is one thing but being taken advantage of because of your soft spoken nature is a break of trust and plain rude.
