Change of style?

How often do you change your hairstyle? Or have you had the same style for a while? Do you experiment with colours or do you stay au natural?

I haven't changed my hairstyle in quite a few years. I have been letting it grow some lately, though, and didn't get a perm like I normally do. I was going to get it cut like my daughter's and let it go naturally. But I'm wondering if I am going to make it to get the haircut. And I'm not for sure that a straight hair cut would look good on me at my age, since I've never worn my hair straight. I am sure my hair is all WHITE, and I do mean white. I take after my Daddy's Dad who was white haired all my life. I started getting my hair colored at the beautician's years ago because my husband wanted me to do it. Now, I wish I had never colored it; lots of trouble not to speak of the expense. I keep it my natural color, though, nothing outlandish.

Would you ever be tempted to try something totally different?

how long does it need to grow? My hair grows so fast over the years I have had it cut up to myears but very soon it is back almost knee length again!

I wouldn't be willing to try an unusual hair color. But, if I do last long enough to get my hair the length I need to get this new hairdo, it will certainly be something very unusual for me. I've never been one to wear straight hair other than a pony tail when I was younger. But the hairdo looks so good on my daughter, but then, she's only 37.

I very seldom change my hairstyle - I am too restless to sit in the stylist chair and let them meddle with me. I only go there to have a hair cut or trim. My natural hair colour is dark brown; now growing grey. I've been experimenting with light brown, mohagany, and the latest is reddish brown!

and which did you prefer?

I like the reddish brown, and I'm going to be more outrageous - maybe try orange the next time!

I don't get a hair cut very often , about once a year but when I do I get a different hair style everytime . I hate making an appointment to get my hair done as it seems to take weeks to get in and when I decide I want it done , I want to get in right away and this delays me in calling and by the time I decide I really need to get it done it has been like a year . For the most part I will just cut my own hair until I find I can't manage it unless I get it cut :) I do dye my hair all the time now though . I didn't have to do this when I was younger but now that I am 37 I have so much white in the front that I am sure if I didn't dye it that it would all be white . Don't know for sure because I never let the dye come out enought to know for sure lol . I usually just go pick up a home dye and have a friend put it in . I always buy a blond when I get one but it is always a different shade of blond . I do this every few months or so and could do it more . Speaking of it ... I could get it done again :)

was blonde your natural colour before you started to get the odd grey or do you just prefer to be blonde?

I've had the same hairstyle for a few years now. I prefer my hair long and easy to deal with! I do color it, it's been red for about 10 years. It was blonde. I don't experiment with other colors, though, I like the red.

Mine was purple once, but it was an accident! Left the dye in too long, it was burgundy, and it turned purple. I liked it, though.
