This is a picture of a two dollar bill that I have in my possession. It was given to me for some kind of activity at work. No lost time accident or something to that nature can't remember exactly what. Have you ever seen a two dollar bill before? Have you seen any other uncommon bills?

yes, i have seen $2 bills but not in a long, long time. my mother always said they were bad luck. the reason she said that she was collecting them & she lost her billfold & she always blamed it on the bills. lol

I still see them around once in awhile, but not as often as I used to. My grandmother used to give her great-grandchildren a $2 bill for their birthdays each year. My grandfather used to save them. I don't know anyone who actually collects them, but know that people do. But, as said elsewhere here, they are still only worth $2!

i have seen one long time ago when it was first made, i think sometime in the 70s. it was new, and my mother gave me one and told me to sign my name on it in pen for some reason. so, now, a $2 bill with my name on it is floating around somewhere, in someone's wallet. i wonder who has it and in what country. i wonder if it is still in america.

I've seen them before. The other manager I used to work with would always put in 2 $1 bills for every $2 bills we get. One time, a customer was telling us how he got his $2 bills. He went to an estate sale and bought two sealed boxes. When he opened one of them, it was filled with $2 bills. I would like to have that kind of surprise.

I have several two dollar bills. I don't think they are uncommon at all. they are easy to pick up at the bank and are used for the same reason as a five dollar bill or whatever. I had met a guy that always uses two dollar bills for everything. I haven't seen any other uncommon bills.

Most people save two dollar bills, thinking they are rare and therefore valuable; they're actually worth... $2.. Modern cash registers don't have space for them.. Last issued in 2003.. Bills from 19th century are more valuable First issued in 1862 with Alexander Hamilton on front; in 1869, reissued with Gilbert Stuart's portrait of Thomas Jefferson on front and his home, Monticello, on reverse.. New issue introduced in 1976, in honor of US bicentennial (This was copied from Answers.com) They are fun to collect but it isn't common to find them, everyone saves them, because they are different..
