Do you think that you know the life expectancy in your country?

I think you are talking about the longitude of life in different countries. I feel that from time to time this data is published in the media. I exactly do not remember but it pertain to the expected average life of human being in the country.

78 years, it's gone up a bit since I last checked it (a couple years ago). I'm an American, and I know we've got super unhealthy habits and all that for a good percentage of our population, so I suppose 78 years is a decent life expectancy.

i will like to check it as well. I am still not sure how much its showing now.will love to see for indians. i guess it wont be much.

Hello williamjisir, i will check also what we have in philippines even do im not already staying in my country, but i will try to check even here in kuwait, but what a great idea so we will know also what going n in the country that we live, not just sit & what for nothing.

Thanks for the link. I was reading through it to stumble on some amazing facts. The native of Africa indeed lead a terrible life and that explains the low expectancy rate. Indians have an expectancy of 68.59. I thought it would be higher but certainly the quality of living is deteriorating and so is the life span.

But here I find a country called WORLD where the life expectancy is showing 65.82. What's that, could you explain?

I think in India its about 70years. With improvements in medicine and food habits, people usually enjoy a long life. Personally though, I would like to call it a day between 60 to 65 yrs.

Ours, in the Philippines, is 70 years old. With so many medicines and life saving medical equipments that can prolong life, we expect our life expectancy to reach a 100. The only problem is the availability and ability to have those medicines. Too sad that the people of africa has a lower one at 35.

not surprised life expectancy in canada is 80, we have affordable health care in general and environment issues are always taken into consideration so they help in maintaining general health
i notice in asia it's around 66 - 75 not surprised about that either in my homeland there is no health care, nothing like here. i don't know if things have changed now. i remember my dad died at 69 of lung cancer, he knew he had cancer long before he died and he knew we would've lost the house if we had to pay for his treatment. also 6 months before he died i was planning my wedding, which was another money shortage although my husband had put money down for it too.

Yea in my country is like 80, but i know china is the shortest place to live.

Anyways i like to live here if i gonna die in my 80 brithday i will be happy.

This is a good sign. At least I hope my parents will have a longer lives. I love them so much and it's hard to imagine that one day they leave me. It's very sad for me to think about it.
