who inspires you?

this life has so many misgivings and hurdles throwing and putting at us in our journey in life,specially when we strive to find success and a good life and i believe many of us find it so difficult that we think to give up or give in..but when someone make it somehow to inspire you then you find again the will and the drive to go on and fight for more...who is this that inspire you? can you tell me please and how he or she inspire you to get going?

Terry Pratchett, the British author of the Discworld series. He has that ability to have you laughing incoherently with tears running down your cheeks one minute, and then hits you with a phrase, a section, a paragraph, that has you weeping tears of sorrow, or of pride at the nobility of humankind the next.
He intersperses insane and witty political satire with pearls of wisdom and an immense understanding of the human condition.

we people are bless by God with people we can look up unto also as our source of inspiration to carry on and live a life with the courage and wit to take the next step toward what we call fulfillment and success..think you like terry very much? i hope i could have a copy of his work..

We do need inspirations in our day to day activities so we won't feel depressed and stressed like many others. In my case, my inspirations are my parents and wife of course. They are my beloved loved ones and I always thank them for inspiring me and giving me hope.

i lost my dad 2years ago,,glad you still have them both with your wife, take good care of your folks you cannot do it without their endless support...thanks and more power...

Vince Lombardi, one of the great professional football (US) coaches. He has many inspiration sayings. My favorite is,
"Winning is not a sometime thing;
It's an all time thing.
You don't win once ina while,
You don't do things right once in a while,
You do them right all the time.
Winning is a habit.
Unfortunately, so is losing."
His context was in the football game. But that applies to so much of life. I think about his words all the time.

As for as inspiration is concerned I have a friend,who is my source of inspiration.Even my sister and parents do inspire me sometimes.Thank You.Good Luck to you.
