Surely, I like them both but I try not to eat too much white sauce coz its dairy and the means too much for the heart.

hahahhaa.... can i answer... green? kiddin' but you know what, i really really like pesto... but i also love white and tomato sauces too... just had a homemade carbonara pasta for dinner. happy mylotting and miss you dear friend.

Both. I'm such a pasta freak that I can't seem to make up my mind on which I like better.I like the creaminess of the white sauce but I also love the sweet and sour taste of tomato sauce.

Definitely tomato for me, my favourite pasta sauce is the tomato based arrabiata. I generally don't like white sauces because they are creamy, and too rich for me. I tend to put something extra in the sauce though, I have a general base sauce of passata/blitzed tomatoes, garlic, oregano and mixed herbs, then I add other ingredients depending on what I have in, and who will be eating it.
If it's just for me, I usually add peppers, peas and onions, or my partner likes chicken or hotdogs with sweetcorn.

hi there, i am just curious are you on a diet since you don't like something creamy or just the taste of it that you do not like? since you and your partner like difference sauces does that mean that you have to prepare two different sauces as well when you cook your pasta? thanks for the post and have a great weekend.

Either one sounds soooooo good. Right now I am on a low carb diet because of my blood sugar and I can't have any pasta. And I really miss it because it is one of my favorite meals.

I like both for my pasta, but sometimes it depends what we feel like to have! But most of the time tomato sauce.

I like both but I seem to eat pasta with tomato sauce more often. I like to use cream of mushroom on my pasta with lots and lots of fresh parmesan. Yum!

White sauce for sure! Alfredo is my FAVORITE! I only like red sauce if my grandparents make it. I grew up on it, and I don't like the taste of anyone else's.
