manny has made a lot of things not only made it a lot of green bucks in boxing but he has become a filipino icon specially in this sport of boxing, he has made the filipino to smile for his victory over many foes on his way to the top which resembles the filipino spirit on their quest toward a good success..but manny is making his way to politics..will you agree with him or not?

I think he should stick to boxing. It is through boxing that he has brought honor to our country. He should steer clear of politics which is a dirty, dirty business, especially here in our country. Obviously, people from his province want him to stay out of politics as well, as evidenced by his loss in the recent elections - which is another proof that we are indeed maturing as people, if we have started to disprove the age-old belief that being a celebrity is a golden ticket to a position in the government.

i think i agree with you guys, boxing is diff. from politics...i see a lot of our politicians boxing each other in almost every branch of this field..endless politicking turn to personal attacks...but boxing turn to politicking, i guess manny is punching pointlessly into the air...coz people love manny where he was now and not what he thinks he will be as a politician

Politics should be a BIG NO NO to Manny Pacquio. He is just being manipulated by this advisers. His line, expertise, background and achievements are totally far out for a politician. If he really wants to venture into politics, he should spend time, invest and exert extra efforts in learning "public management".
If I were him I'll stay where he is now and don't let others corrupt his mind and focus. that would be a totally disaster decision if he will still pursue it.

Manny Pacquiao should stick with boxing or if he retires he should help build up the sport of boxing more or better yet engage in another sport like billiards (yes he plays billiards on his spare time). Politics is not his forte and will likely loose alot on that arena.

If I were Manny I would not join because I really think that he would just be used by these season politicians for their own good use. I really think that he may serve his countrymen by doing where he is good at. Joining Politics would just cloud his achievements. But of course it is him that will decide for himself and voting for him would not be in my list if ever he runs.

this is an unending question...just because he is famous and wealthy now he can enter politics that easy..do you really know what his real motives in running a position?me i really do not understand him, if his only motive is to help his constituents he can do that without entering politics...i think he should just concentrate in boxing now..or if he wants to retire later on then he can be like golden boy de la hoya..run his own boxing promotion..i know he has manny pacquiao promitions..he can concentrate on that..but politics?come on!why does he have to listen to chavit?he will just be used...politics is a very dirty arena.

I would rather prefer it if he doesnt join politics. It would surely ruin his good name. He's my idol in the boxing arena. I think he's a really great athlete and a source of inspiration to all Filipinos. I watch all of his matches. But as a politician, i dont think he will be successful. I cant understand why he has to enter politics again when he already had a bad experience when he ran for a post and lost. He better just stick with boxing and sports.
