Is Computer really usefull Or just for Entertainment?  

if you mean computers, in general, then it's like saying Bill Gates should have had a different career. if home PC, it is very useful for communication or chatting with a client or customer, homework research, report preparing, take home work if you don't want to spend time at the office plus the usual music and video downloads. it is very convenient to have a computer at home.

Of course they are useful! I use mine for completing things like my tax return online, online banking and billpaying, purchasing and even making money. As well as that, we use them to complete assignments, research, reading newspapers - which saves buying them and chopping down trees, getting maps and directions for trips, making telephone calls using VoIP, getting help and instructions on forums, making queries to companies. Home PCs are a HUGE time saver.

yea,pc is lot necessary to live now in this world...infact i mean on earnin basis,like making business contacts....discussions etc...it provide wide range of contacts its really helpfull for me...anyways happy lottin..

It Doesn't matter ! it's about how u use it .

at home computer is use for chatting, playing games,watching or downloading movie or songs but proffesional user use this for making new things like softwares and many more. I use computer for internet,playing games watching movies and I am B.C.A student so I use this for making programmas .

actually there's a lot of thing you can earn in having a pc at home.

first, for educational purposes...you don't to go through reference areas like libraries doing your homework and for your research, you can instantly do it in front of your pc's provided you have your internet connection..if not you don't have to rent for pc's in a net cafe just to do your paper works you save time and money too..

second, for earning...lots of people now know the power of earning through in internet (that is if you have your internet connection)....you can either do it in blogging, gpt's, online trading and many others..

third, for entertainment... you can download you favorite music and movies...your pc's can be turn into instant cinema and sounds gadget at home.

it is much useful in any case,also it depends on u why u require a pc.

See I am a embedded programmer the code we dumped in a hardware will all done by the computer I thought you know what the use of hardware in our daily life this is only a simple example there are some libraries of books available on computer so we can't say the computer is only for entertainment there are lots of lots of uses in our daily life.

computers are like everything and nothing. what i mean is your computer can be a place for education, a business, entertainment and anything els you can think of.

I think computers at home are more than just for entertainment. If only I have computer at home when I was still studying, I believe it would have given me a lot of advantage at school.
