I have passed the Typewritting higher grade during my higher seconday itself.. so, i know the finguring of the typewritter.. since the computer has its soft touch, i will be now very much comfortabls to use type in mylot.. Yes, this will give the good finguring practice to the people those who are not practiced the typewritting.. You are correct, as you said, mylot will give you a training to make your finguring good, and also help you to improve your finguring also.. I think for the professional typist it is easy to type without looking at the Key Board because you have the practice in typing. When you got not to look at the board, you will be able to write very fast and you can complete the task in short time. I think after posting about 2000 posts you will become super in typing and will be able to write more and more because you will become a expert in writing english.

I know how to type with all my fingers without looking at the keyboard... i learned how to do that when i entered a short program in school during the summer... and i am glad i did... but here in mylot... my typing skill has improved a lot... because i found myself becoming more and more faster when it comes to typing... but i still need to improve my spelling... because as we all know... the fingers should not type faster than the brain could think...

Yes, I would say that the more you use the keyboard to type, the more you will remember where your fingers need to go. It is as if there is a little brain in each finger! :-)

When I first signed up with mylot I couldn't type very good. I used to type really good though but since I have been out of the office profession I didn't have to type much so I kind of lost my skills. I had to look the keys over again and remember where they were and I had to type with my eyes glued to the keyboard and with only one of two fingers from each hand. Now that I have been here for a year I have improved my typing skills a whole lot. I now type without looking at the keyboard and I watch the screen and I type really fast since I can catch my mistakes as I make them. I don't have to read over my posting anymore before I send it to post. So mylot is a good site for many reasons and I am grateful to them for helping me get my typing skills back.
