We celebrate it with my daughters birthday. Not just a turkey. Ironically she prefers to have a pumpkin pie over a birthday cake. Always have wondered about that...lol
We are very thankful...twice over you could say as she is kind of like a miracle baby too me as I had a very hard time carrying her throughout the pregnancy.

Personally, I give thanks every day! No special day for me to give thanks. I'm thankful for each day and the many blessings I enjoy.

It depends of if we have enough money to buy a turkey or not . Some years we have a big dinner and invite family up and sometimes we go out because we are invited soemwhere to eat . If we have it here we usually have it for supper and I make a turkey or a ham , cranberries , potatoes and scallop poatatoes , vegetables and gravy and stuffing . We usually go all out if we are going to do something because it is only on holidays that we have such a huge dinner . It is nice to get togther with family . I am not sure if we are doing anything this year or not because money is really tight this year , what with the price of gas and all :)

Thanksgiving, well we really don't have that in our country so I won't probably know about it nor how to celebrate it. I just know that there is a big turkey that is being roasted which I don't know the taste. They said that it is tasty, and delicious. Hope I could taste it someday, maybe you could send some to my country.

For us Thanksgiving is a family thing. We get together and have turkey with all the trimmings, mashed potatoes and gravy, cranberry sauce, sweet potatoes with marshmallows on top, fresh bread, pumpkin pie with whipped cream, dressing from the turkey, jello salad. We eat too much, complain about how much we ate, and how much weight we are gaining, but we are together, we are happy, and we are thankful for each other, for our lives and for our families and friends. Life is good.
