Good afternoon, youless. For me the best time to have dinner with the others is dinner or supper rather than lunch, because I need to have a good nap after lunch. If I have lunch together with the others, then it will be a longer time which will occupy my nap time. A nap after lunch a day is a must for me. A good nap a day keeps the doctor away.

Yeah, everyone has a different lifestyle. Now it is time for me to take a nap and I will have to say Good Bye to you. By the way I am so happy to have been able to see you reach 10000 posts. I hope to reach that by the end of this year. Happy posting, youless.

Right, I would do the same too. If it is a meal with my parents or siblings, then dinner is fine. If it is with customers or friends, I often prefer having lunch and on weekdays. I don't really like to have my weekends and evenings being interrupted by work-related and non-family functions.

I don't know lunch or dinner.I don't eat breakfast. Lunch will be cheaper but dinner may be easier to plan. Dinner is usually around 6pm-8pm. but lunch can be as early as 10am and as late as 2pm.

It will really have to depend on the schedule for my week.
And also the kind of meal you are referring to.
For social purposes such as those that catch up with friends after a long day of work, dinner or lunch is fine by me.
As long as we get to meet up and get together, then it is fine.
For business meals like those with insurance agents, business contacts, lunch is best. Would prefer not to have to "work" during dinner unless it is totally necessary. Otherwise, like you said, family come first.

For me, my lunch hour is really tight, so I always have dinner with friends. But of course it would be different for you since you have a family. I think around 7pm is great for dinner, then we would have plenty of time to catch up and stuff and not going home too late. I hate having dinner with people after 8pm.

I, also, generally avoid dinner and rather go out for lunch. I usually can eat more at lunch. Breakfast is even better except I usually exercise right after breakfast. For me, dinner is the beginning of relaxing time and winding down, I don't like to do much after dinner.

Same here too... i prefer lunch because by 5 pm... i need to pick up my daughter at my in-laws house... and we eat dinner together... i cook for her in the apartment... but if i do not have enough time... we just eat out... so dinner time in exclusive for me and my daughter...

if it is a 'formal' meal.. just me + officemates.. i will normally prefer to go for lunch.. then, i came still go home and prepare dinner for the family... or else i have to pack food for them, or trouble my mom to cook for them... also... i will have 'endless' phonecalls + messages from home while i eat...
but if it is nothing formal... and the family is invited... i dont really care if it is dinner or lunch.. because they'll be eating with me....

I prefer to go out for lunch however, if it is an invitation with the entire family dinner is preferred.
