Make your own Modge Podge  |

|  I found this recipe online today to make your own modge podge. Now, I haven't tried this yet, but if it works, it's going to save me a ton of bucks because I use this stuff quite a bit.
Mix 3 parts white glue to 1 part water. Add more or less water to get the desired thickness you want. If you want a glossy type of modge podge, add 2 tbs of varnish. Store in an air tight container with lid. Hope y'all find some good crafty uses for this.

| |  This is great. I like to save some of the prettier puzzles I put together. But modgepodge costs a few body parts I would prefer to keep.

| |  I am just starting to get into crafts so you will have to explain this to me...real slow like LOL. What exactly is a Modge Podge & what exactly is it for? I have never heard of this before. Explain this for me please LOL. Thank you.

| | Modge podge is a type of glue. Most ppl use it when they decoupage. Decoupage is covering an object, like a wooden or cardboard box for example with paper. It can be bits of wrapping paper, pretty napkins things like that. You can also use modge podge as a sealer, or a finish. Like if you paint something, brush a coat of modge podge over it and it acts like a varnish. Its a really awesome glue, it sticks paper or fabric to just about any surface and it dries clear.
