Why doesn't my blog/s appear in Google search?

I am seriously curious and I could not find any answers in... well, Google. I have several blogs but none of them appear in Google. Most of them are over 5 months old, so Google couldn't possible use the excuse that there might just be a lag in the system. I tried searching for specific topics that my blogs focus on and I get second-rate results.
I'm using Blogger by the way.

Hi, there. I'm not sure how it works for Blogger but in Live Journal, there's this option to limit the appearance of my blog entries in search engines. I think this option was enabled by default and I never really bothered changing it, since my blog is semi-friends only anyway and the topics I post about wouldn't really be of interest to anyone other than my friends list and the communities I'm a member of. *lol*
Maybe Blogger has a similar function..? Hope you figure it out soon.
